MISSING THREE MII.E ISLA'iD #1 INSPECTION RECORDS - REQUEST FOR TRMISFER OF LEAD RESPONSIBILITY TO LICENSING (AITS #F12064HO)
Reference:
Letter, Arnold of Meted to NRR and Region I, dtd 11/3/75 The referenced letter from Metropolitan Edison Company, TMI-1, outlines the licensee's proposed action as a result of their finding that certain pre-service inspection baseline data records required by their In-Service Inspection Program were missing.
Since their proposed action will result in less than what is requited by Section XI of the ASME ESPV Code to which they are committed, it is requested that lead responsibilfrf for evaluation and disposition of this matter be transferred to Licensing, We plan to conduct an inspection in December at the licensee's a
facility to review their ISI program. During this inspection we will review the licensee's findings relative to the missing pre-ser" ice inspecticn d:::. He vill fei..crd to ycu cny additional information we may obtain relevant to this matter.
