In response to the referenced

'E Inspection Report, a draft pro-cedure was issued on November 21, 1978 specifying that initial analyses for routine alpha air samples should be conducted between 6 and 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> af ter sample collection, with results available for the next scheduled working day.

The purpose for issuing the pro-cedure in draft form is to identify and resolve operating difficulties and conflicts and make any necessary procedure revisions while using the procedure wi thout violating an approved procedure.

It is anticipated the procedure will be issued in an approved form prior to February, 1979.
