APPENDIX A General Electric Company Vallecitos Nuclear Center Pleasanton, California 94566 Docket No.70-754 License No. SNM-960 Notice of Deviation Based on results of the NRC inspection conducted during the period September 25-28, 1978, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted according to generally accepted practices and proce-dures in the industry as indicated below:
Contrary to generally accepted procedures, the licensee's air alpha sampling and counting procedures presently require 4 to 6 days before results can be reported to the Radiation Protec-tion Function for their information and action.
