APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Georgia Power Company License No. CPPR-108 Vogtle Nuclear Plant CPPR-109 Based on the NRC inspection August 21-24, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Criterion V of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50, and as implemented by the Georgia Power Company FSAR Section 17.1.5, " Activities affecting quality shall be prescribed by documented instructions, procedures or drawings....and shall be accomplished in accordance with these instruc-tions, procedures or drawings." Procedure CD-T-02 specifies that testing of concrete shall be conducted at the truck discharge in accordance with ASTM-C-172, Contrary to the above, testing of concrete for pour Nos. A-080-135 and A-080-153 was conducted at the concrete lab and not at the truck discharge.
This is an infraction. A similar item was brought to your attention in our letter dated December 12, 1978.
