Dear Mr. Saltzman:

Enclosed is the proposed amendment to the indemnity Agreement reflecting a change in 10 CFR Part IIIO, " Financial Protection Requirements and indemnity Agreements."

Mr. W. A. Williams of the South Carolina Public Service Authority has advised me that the language included in Amendment No. 2 is already included in our indemnity Agreement No. B-86 and thus Amendment No. 2 is not required.

I understand Mr. Williams has already contacted you to confirm this. If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Sincerely, T. C. Nichols, Jr.
