TENDERING OF APPLICATION F01 LICENSE - CALLAWAY PLANT, UNIT 1 On October 2, 1979, we received the SNUPPS FSAR which was tendered by a letter from Mr. Nicholas A. Petrick. As stated in the letter, the SNUPPS FSAR will be incorporated into the applications for the CCalaway Plant, Units 1 and 2, the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Uni; 1 and the Sterling Power Project Nuclear, Unit 1.
By letter, dated October 19, 1979, we received your tendered application for an operating license for Unit 1 of the Callaway Plant.
The tendered appli-cation, which incorporates the SNUPPS FSAR for the standard portion of the plant, also included the following documents:

Environmental Report - Operating License Stage By a separate letter, dated October 19, 1979, we also received the Security Plan for your plant.
As a result of the recent accident at the Three Mile Island 1.cility, review resources within the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, which would normally be available for the review of your application, have been assigned to several high priority tasks.

A copy of your apjlication and the SNUPPS FSAR will be placed in the NRC Public Document doom,1717 H Street, N.
W., Washington, D.C., at the Fulton City Library, '09 Market Street, Fulton, Missouri and at the Olin Library of Washington U9versity, Skinker and Lindell Boulevards, St. Louis, Missouri.
A copy of %e SNUPPS FSAR will also be placed at the Office of the County Clerk, Ce = fey County Courthouse, Burlington, Kansas and at the Oswego City Library,120 East Second Street, Oswego, New York, the local Public Docu-ments Rooms for the Wolf Creek and Sterling applications, respectively.
A copy of your application, and other relevant documents, as they become available, will be on file for public inspection.
It is requested that you have one of your representatives make periodic checks of the material avail-able and assure that any revised and supplemental information is properly incorporated into the apr,lication and that any amendments, reports, and letters which you file with us are available.
We will send documents that you file with us and tnose filed for the SNUPPS FSAR to the Fulton City and Washington University Libraries. We will also send documents filed for the SNUPPS FSAR to the Coffey County Courthouse and the Oswego City Library.
