NOTICE OF EXPIRED LICENSE This refers to the telephone discussion between Mr. F. Augustine, Jr. of this office and J. Wolfgang of your organization on May 29, 1979.

NRC records show that the Byproduct Material License identified above has expired and no renewal application has been filed in accordance with Section 30.37 of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 30.

From our discussion with your representative we learned that you do not have any byproduct material in your possession. Therefore, you must take the following actions:

Prepare a statement which explains the method of disposal of the materials--

what material was involved, how it was disposed of or to whom it was shipped, and when this was done.

A copy of the statement shall be sent, within fifteen (15) days of the receipt of this letter, to Region I, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, 631 Park Avenue, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania,19406, ATTN: Mr. R. 0. McClintock, Chief, Materials Radiological Protection Section, Fuel Facility and Materials Safety Branch.

Also, if the activities conducted under the expired license were subject to the reporting requirements of 10 CFR 20.407, you must submit the annual report required by 20.408 for individuals engaged in activities under the expired license.

Those reports must be submitted to the Office of Administration, U.S.
