Docket Nos. 50-272 50-311 GAS COMPANY' (Salem Nuclear Generating li Station, Units 1&2) f REQUEST 'FOR ACTION UNDER 10 CFR 2.206 Notice is hereby given that by petition dated October 18, 1979, Alfred and Eleancr Coleman requested that an order be issued to Public Service Electric and Gas Company to show cause why the construction permit for Salem Unit 2 and the operating license for Salem Unit 1 should not be suspended or revoked. The basis of the request is alleged violations of the Endangered Species Act of 1973.
This petition is being treated as a request for action under 10 CFR 2.206 of the' Commission's regulations, and accordingly, action will be taken on the petition within a reasonable time.
Copies of the petition are available for inspection in the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D. C. 20555 and in the local public document room at Salem Free Public Library,112 West Broadway, Salem New Jersey, 08079.
