'D STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-277 PHILADELPHIA ELECTRIC CCMPANY PUBLIC SERVICE ELECTRIC AND GAS COMPANY DELMARVA POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY ATLAfiTIC CITY ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 62 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-44 issued to Philadel-phia Electric Company, Public Service Electric and Gas Company, Delmarva Power and Light Company, and Atlantic City Electric Company, which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Peach Botton Atomic Power Station, Unit No. 2 (the facility) located in Peach Botton, York County, Pennsylvania. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.

The change would permit continued operation of Peach Bottom 2 without performing a pump flow rate capacity test on the A/C subsystem of the Core Spray System, until January 3,1980.

The application for the amendment complies with the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, r.s anended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.

Prior public notice of this anendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significa.nt hazards consideration.

The Cornission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental inpact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 151.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement, negative declaration or environ-mental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of 7 911050 Qh.h this amendment.
