Inspection 50-29/78-19
This refers to your letter dated January 16, 1979, and the telephone
call on January 24, 1979 by Messrs. St. Laurent, Staub, and Trejo of
your staff, and Mr. MacDonald of Yankee Services Company, to Mr. Plumlee
of this office in response to our letter dated December 22, 1978.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions you
documented in response to our correspondence.
However, your letter has
been reviewed and additional information is found to be needed in response
to item B, as follows.
Your letter did not identify any record of this individual's radiation
exposure that, on November 6, 1978, contained all of the information
required by Form NRC-5.
Mr. Vandenburgh's letter dated January 23,
1978, indicated that the Form NRC-5 information would be maintained in
the TRAP computer record system.
However, after the inspector identified
a 1.22 rem error in the information input to TRAP, your letter dated
January 16, 1979, requested withdrawal of this item of noncompliance,
"Due to the fact that the information ... was not to be used in compiling
the Form NRC-5."
In order that we may inspect the proper records, please inform us what
record on November 6,1978, contained the above individual's Form NRC-5
information.
In addition, please inform us of any records required by
10 CFR 20 that you maintain in the TRAP computer records system.
