Region I Management Meeting, March 6, 1979 This refers to the meeting, held at your rcquest, with Region I personnel on March 6,1979 at the Region I office.
The attendees were Messrs G.
Cochrane, R. Leach, J. MacDonald, N. Panzarino, and J. Trejo, representing YAEC licensees, and Messrs G. Smith, H. Crocker, W. Lazarus, K. Plumlee, and L. Thonus of our office.
Your letter dated February 23, 1979, confirmed the meeting arrangements.
The subject reviewed during this meeting is included in the Office of Inspection and Enforcement Meeting Summary that is enclosed with this letter.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial and provided additional information concerning the radiation dosimetry record systems for your facilities.
Infomation presented during the meeting resulted in our withdrawal of Item B of the Notice of Violation encloced with our Mtter dated December 22, 1978.
At your request we are reviewing certain aspects of your present and proposed practices in maintaining records required by 10 CFR 20.
You will be infomed of the detemination of these 'tems when this infor-mation becomes available.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a ccpy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
