Dear Mr. Sutherland:
This refers to an inspection conducted by Mr. A. L. Cunningham on May 15-17, 1979 at Catawba Nuclear Station.
In his report, one item of noncompliance was noted concerning the licensee's f ailure to provide adequate erosion control measures in the site construction area.
Your letter requested that a response, pursuant to 10CFR 2.201, be filed within twenty (20) days of receipt of the report.
Following is Duke Power Company's response:
1, The northwest bank opposite the LPSW intake structure was riprapped to effectively control erosion of the area.
