The Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has found that:
A.
The application for amendment by Jersey Central Power & Light Cor.rany (the licensee) dated June 1,1979, as supported by letters datu March 14,1979, and Jane 26, 1979, complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Lnergy Act of 1954, as ar. ended (the Act),
and the Comission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.
The facility will operate in conformity with the application, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Comission; C.
There is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Comission's regulatiens; D.
The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the connon defense and security cr to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Comission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.

Accordingly, paragraph 3.E. of Provisional Operating License No. CFR-15 is hereby amended to read as follows:
E.
The licensee may proceed with and is required to complete the modifications identified in Paragraphs 3.1.1 through 3.1.23 of the NRC's Fire Protection Safety Evaluation (SE) cn the facility dated March 3.1978, and supplements thereto. These modifications shall be c0mpleted as specified in Table 3.1 of the SE, and supplements thereto. In addition, the licensee shall submit the additional information identified in Table 3.2 cf the SE in accordance with the schedule contained therein. In the event these dates cannot be met, the licensee shall submit a report, explaining the circumstances, together with a revised schedule.

This licaase amendment is effective as of the date of its issuance.
