NUCIIAR INCIDENT AT TEEE MILE ISLAND Operational:
1.
The average coolant temperature is 157 degrees F end being maintained around that temperature by natur.1 circulation.

Stes:a is _eing admitted to the main condenser through the turbine bypass valve from the A Steam Generator.
The highest incore temperature reading is 286'F.

Water level in the reactor building is being measured daily, and was 7.0 feet above floor level this morning.

Pre' operational testing remainc in progress for the Spent Fuel Pool Tank Fam, Once-Through Steam Genera tar "B" Long-Tem Cooling System, and the codified rad waste treatment system (EPICOR).
The testiog is scheduled for completion by June 8.
The pressure / volume control system is due to be turned over for preoperational testing in a few days.
4.
An individual posing as an employee of a legitimate contractor at THI-2 attempted.to gain accese to the site at 10:45 p.m. on June 2, 1979. The person did not have a site photo identification badge and was refused access by the security guard at ite south gate. The individual left the site access area while the guard was at:cmpting to verify his identity.
The guard obtained the imposter's veticle license number (California plate). The individual has been tentatively identified by the Pennsylvania State Police.
No further action 2s planned by the licensee.
Additional followup of this matter will be conducted by the Region I office.

.PNO-79-677 reported:
"The hydrogen recombine:- tripped off at 0115 on April 13 (burned out heaters)... A decision had not been made whether te replace the heaters or to initiar.e operation of the backup recombiner."
It was later determined that the recombinar trip was caused by a shorted quick-disconnect plug.
