'4 VERIFICATICN AND CPERABILITY TEST; AND MA 2 3 W3 TURBINE CRIVEN EMERGENCY FEECPUMP CPE?ASILITY TEST 1.0 PURPOSE To insure cc:~pliance with TMI Unit #2 Technical Specifications, 1.1 Section 4.7.1.2.a which states:
Each auxiliary feedwater system shall be de cnstrnac CPERABLE at least cnce per 31 days on a STAGGERED TEST 3"S!3 by:

3.0 1!MITATICNS AND PRECAUTIONS 3.1 When a reference value or set of values may have been affected by repair or routine servicing of the pump, a new reference valt.e or set of values shall be determined, or the previous value reconfimed by an inservice test run prior to or within 96 hours0.00111 days <br />0.0267 hours <br />1.587302e-4 weeks <br />3.6528e-5 months <br /> af ter return of the pump to no mal service.
Deviations between the previous ar.d new set of reference values shall be identified and verification that the new values represent acceptable pump operation shall be placed in the pump record.
3.2 An inservice test shall be run on each pump ncminally eacn month during normal plant operation.
It is reccmrended that this test frecuency be maintained during cold shutdown periods where this can reasonably be acccrclished, althcugh this is not mandatory.
