Dear Mr. Seawright:
As requested by your application dated February 16, 2018, as supplemented February 13, March 15 and May 29, 2019, enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 9378, Revision No. 0, for the Model No. HI-STAR 100MB package. The staff's Safety Evaluation Report is also enclosed.
Holtec International has been registered as a user of the package under the general license provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 71.17 or 49 CFR 173.471.
The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 173.471.
