In your investigation of the Three 'iile Island accident, : urge you to record fcr later analysis the folicwing information:

The spatial distribution of ground dose with time in the affected region.

iso-dose contour maps.'<easurements should be sufficiently numerous to pre 2.

The isotacic compcsition and time pattern of activity relea:ed from the plant.

The nut.ber of plant workers exposed, and the estimated or measured doses.

Tne estimated number of persons exposed in the general population and the associated dose distribution.

I know that you will prepare a cetailed chronology of events in and arcund the reactor, as part of the ree"latory investigation, but I would like aiso to be sure that the information above, which bears on siting policy and generally on long-range policy choices, is also collected carefully.
