We received Supolecent II to the Enviremental Rencrt (ER) in supocri of your a plication for an operating license fer the Three Mile Island ?

(TMI-2), in accordance with Section 2.101 of 10 CFR Part 2.

The staff has comoleted review of the Enviremental Report, Suppimient II for the TMI-2 facility. On the basis of this review, we have concluded that the ER is sufficiently emplete for the staff to initiate a detailed review, and accordingly the Enviromental Report, Supplers.ent II (Docket No. 50-320) will be docketed. As scon as the envircrr: ental review schedule is developed, you will be advised of key milestene dates. We will prepare the schedule based on the assumption t9.t responses to all of cur acceptance review questians (see attachment) are rxeived by May 31, 1975. Please notify us within two weeks if that date cannot be 'at, in whica case it will be necessary for us to revise our review schedule.

If during the ccurse of cor review, you believe there is a need to acceal a staff positi:;6 bacause of oisagreement, this need shculd be brcught to the staff's auentien as early as possible so that the ap;ropriate meeting can be arranged on a timely basis. A written recuest is not necessarv and all such requests shculd be initiated through the Enviremental Project Manager assigned to the review of your apolication. This procedure is an infomal one, designed to allow opportunity fcr applicents to discuss areas of disagreenent with Reactor Licensing management.
