DEC 0 31979 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Alabama Power Company License No. NPF-2 Farley Nuclear Plant Based on the NRC inspection November 5-16, 1979, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Technical Specification 4.3-3.2.a, a monthly channel func-tional test of Fuel Storage Pool Area Process Monitors A & B shall be done when irradiated fuel is in the storage pool.
Contrary to the above, a review of surveillance test procedure FNP-1-STP-43.0, Fuel Storage Pool Process Monitor A & B - Monthly Functional Test, for the period April to September 1979, indicated that the functional test was not performed for the month of May 1979.
This is a deficiency.
