This refers to your letter dated October 10, 1979, in response to our letter
dated September 20, 1979.
Based on a telephone conversation between Mr. T. Stetka of this office, your-
self and Mr. R. Pasternack on October 18, 1979, it is our understanding that
the RES Technician inspections discussed in your response to Item B will be
implemented in accordance with a Radiological and Environment Services Depart-
ment Standing Order.
This Standing Order will specify the type and frequency
of these inspection patrols.
In addition, a Security and Safety Department
Standing Order will be issued that will direct the in plant security guard to
conducts checks of radiological control doors during each watch standing shi't.
This procedure will be implemented by November 30, 1979.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documenced
in your letter.
These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection
of your licensed program.
