RO INSPECT 10N REPORT NO. 50-289/74-34 THREE MILE ISLAND UNIT 1 (TRACK #F18021HO)
The enclosed report is forwarded for action.
The licensee's Environmental Technical Specifications (ETS) should
be upgraded in several areas to be consistant with the current
AEC Standard Environmental Technical Specification Guide. The
Inspection Evaluations contains the specifics.
In addition, note that Three Mile Island was cited for not
meeting the I-131 in milk sensitivity specified in their ETS.
Since this licensee is using perhaps the 'best' contractor in
this region and still cannot meet this requirement all of the
time, it reenforces the position outlined in the memos, Bores
to Stohr (November 8, 1974) and Nelson to Roy (November 19, 1974),
on this subject forwarded for your information.
