Dear Mr. Denton:
We have received and reviewed Mr. Parr'u letter of Septenber 21, 1979, requesting additional information concerning tlv2 analysis of a potential main steam line break at tbrth Anna Unit 2.
Representatives of Vepco and the Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation attended a meeting with the NRC Staff in Bethesda on September 21,1979, at which the methods and asstrptions used in this analysis were discussed. The information presental at that meeting applies to both tbrth Anna Units 1 and 2.
Based on discussions with rcenbers of the Staff during and following the meeting, we understand that the Staff now has sufficient information concerning this analysis for tbrth Anna Units 1 and 2, and that an additional response specifically for Unit 2 is not required.
Please contact us should you have additional questions or corments on this natter.
4 Very y yours, OP M Sam C. Brown, Jr.
