McGuire Nuclear Station does not utilize the " deep draft" type pumps referenced in the subject bulletin. All Core Spray and Residual Heat Removal Pumps at'McGuire Nuclear Station are of the short-coupled design, where the pump impeller is mounted directly on the motor shaf t.
