n The canes for both units had been. shipped from the manufacturer and accepted at the construction site In the reported condition. Earlier

' acceptance of the coating has been revoked after an Inspection by the coating manufacturer, Carboline. - >

v.) Information was received by the$afety Review Committee on August 1, 1979. -Your office was notified by telephone on August.2,1979.

v1.) One containment polar crane is provided for each unit at Marble Hill.

vii.) The cranes will be blasted to remove the present prime coat of Carbozine 11, and reprimed with Carbozinc 11. This work will be accomplished at the construction site by the field coating contractor, J.

L. Manta. His work should be complete prior to August 30,1979, for the Unit I crane. The Unit 2 crane will be blasted and reprimed prior to erection in the Unit 2 containment.

vill.) PSI has not planned to give any advise related to this defect to purchasers or licensees.
