AMENDMENT NO. 14 TO CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE NO. 1014 FOR THE HI-STORM 100 MULTIPURPOSE CANISTER STORAGE SYSTEM - UPDATED REVIEW SCHEDULE (EPID NO. L-2018-LLA-0292)
Dear Ms. Tomlinson:
By letter dated January 24, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML19024A034), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff accepted the amendment request to the NRC for the Certificate of Compliance No. 1014 for HI-STORM 100 Multipurpose Canister Storage System. In the letter, staff provided a schedule for issuing the preliminary safety evaluation report (PSER) in May 2019, based on having only one request for additional information (RAI) and Holtecs satisfactory RAI response within 30 days of the RAI issuance. Due to the time taken to resolve technical issues, we are revising the schedule to issue the PSER for rulemaking in July 2019.
