CORRECTION TO THE ATTACHMENTS ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS AND GRANTING OF EXEMPTIONS REGARDING CONSISTENCY AND CLARIFICATION CHANGES TO ANNEX BUILDING, AUXILIARY BUILDING, AND BASEMAT ITAAC (LAR 17-040) (EPID L-2017-LLA-0437)
Dear Mr. Whitley:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Amendment Nos. 128 and 127 to Combined License (COL) Nos. NPF-91 and NPF-92, for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4, respectively, on June 27, 2018. The attachment to Amendment No. 128 for Unit 3 and Amendment No. 127 for Unit 4 were issued with administrative errors on COL Appendix C, page C-419 that were inadvertently introduced. The error was originally introduced when Amendment No. 27 was issued on December 23, 2014 (NRCs Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML14323A609), and remained uncorrected when Amendment Nos. 98 (for Unit 3) and 97 (for Unit 4) were issued on November 14, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17283A312).
The error reverted a change approved in Amendment No. 7 (ADAMS Accession No. ML13115A424) that revised 11.05 to 11.02 in the Column Lines column (From Col. Line 11.2 to Col. Line 11.05) to be consistent with Figure 3.3-11B. Correction of the error does not change any of the conclusions made by the NRC staff in the safety evaluations for Amendment Nos. 7, 27, 98 (for Unit 3 and No. 97 for Unit 4), or 128 (for Unit 3 and No. 127 for Unit 4).
The Supplemental Attachments to Amendment Nos. 128 and 127 for COL Nos. NPF-91 and NPF-92, which include the corrected COL Appendix C, page C-419 is included with this letter as Enclosures and can be found in ADAMS under Accession Nos. ML19044A449 and ML19044A450, respectively. We regret any inconvenience that this has caused.
