Title:

NOTICE OF MEETING WITH X-ENERGY TO PROVIDE PRE-APPLICATION INFORMATION RELATED TO CRITICALITY SAFETY REGARDING THE TRISO-X FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY LICENSE APPLICATION Date(s) and Time(s): December 12, 2018, 01:15 PM to 04:00 PM Location: NRC Two White Flint North, TWFN 3-B-00 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is a Category 1 meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion of the meeting but before the meeting is adjourned.

Purpose:

To provide a pre-application discussion of criticality safety related to an application for a first of a kind commercial TRISO fuel fabrication facility. X-Energy is planning to apply for a license for a Category (CAT) II fuel fabrication facility as defined in 10 CFR Part 70, Domestic Licensing of Special Nuclear Material.
