This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.
Purpose:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a virtual draft supplemental environmental impact statement (DSEIS) meeting to gather comments necessary to prepare the final supplemental environmental impact statement (FSEIS) for the potential license renewal of the operating licenses for Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant (CPNPP), Units 1 and 2. The NRC is seeking stakeholder input on this action. The NRC issued a request for public comment (88 FR 75629, 88 FR 78068, and 88 FR 77308) with a deadline of December 26, 2023. This meeting supplements the webinar held on December 7, 2023.
