Dear Margrethe Kearney and Andrene Dabaghi,
This is to follow up on our phone call of August 2, 2018. To summarize, you were informed that the Petition Review Board (PRB) for your 2.206 petition concerning the FirstEnergy Nuclear Facility Operations bankruptcy (ML18094A642), has made an initial recommendation to accept the requested actions in your petition for review under the NRCs 2.206 process. Also, you were asked whether you desired an opportunity to comment on this recommendation, in person or via teleconference, consistent with MD 8.11. You declined this offer for a 2nd meeting with the PRB.
As described in MD 8.11, the NRC will send you an acknowledgement letter that will describe the events to date related to your petition and will reflect the staffs initial recommendation.
