VIRGIL C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3, TERMINATION OF COMBINED LICENSES NPF-93 AND NPF-94
Dear Mr. Stoddard:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved the termination of Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station (VCSNS) Combined Licenses (COLs) NPF-93 and NPF-94 and their included licenses under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 30, Rules of General Applicability to Domestic Licensing of Byproduct Material; 10 CFR Part 40, Domestic Licensing of Source Material; and 10 CFR Part 70, Domestic Licensing of Special Nuclear Material, to manufacture, produce, transfer, receive, acquire, own, possess, or use byproduct material. This action is in response to your request to withdraw the VCSNS COLs, dated December 27, 2017.
This action is effective upon receipt of this letter.
A copy of the termination Federal Register notice is enclosed, for your information. The notice has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
