Design Change Package 94-057, "CP Chemical Injection for Ethanolamine in the Secondary", implemented the use of ethanolamine (ETA} in the secondary system chemistry to provide enhanced secondary system pH and corrosion control in two-phase regions (wet steam, high pressure heater drains, and moisture separator drains).
FS99-002 UFSAR Change Request 06/10/99 (Safety Evaluation 99-022, Rev. 1)
As a result of the Integrated Configuration Management Project review, UFSAR Change Request FS99-002 contains corrections and clarifications to the UFSAR sections that discuss Surry's Radiation Monitoring System. These changes are to enhance accuracy and do not affect any radiation monitoring system or structure, or any of its component's operation or performance. Revision 1 of Safety Evaluation 99-022 addresses the treatment of a previously approved UFSAR change (FS92-059).
FS99-014 UFSAR Change Request 06/03/99 (Safety Evaluation 99-053)
As a result of the Integrated Configuration Management Project review, UFSAR Change Request FS99-014 contains corrections and clarifications to the UFSAR sections that discuss Surry's Circulating Water System. These changes are to enhance accuracy and do not affect any circulating water system or structure, or any of its component's operation or performance.
FS98-048 UFSAR Change Request 06/03/99 (Safety Evaluation 99-054)
As a result of the Integrated Configuration Management Project review, UFSAR Change Request FS98-048 contains corrections and clarifications to the UFSAR sections that discuss Surry's Reactor Protection System. These changes are to enhance accuracy and do not affect any reactor protection system or structure, or any of its component's operation or performance.
FS99-016 UFSAR Change Request 06/10/99 (Safety Evaluation 99-055)
As a result of the Integrated Configuration Management Project review, UFSAR Change Request FS99-016 contains corrections and clarifications to the UFSAR sections that discuss Surry's Radiological Protection System. These changes are to enhance accuracy and do not affect any radiological protection system or structure, or any of its component's operation or performance.

Design Change Package 99-004, "Auxiliary Building Sump Pump Level Switch Replacement/Surry/Unit 1", replaced the problematic float switches that control the Auxiliary Building Sump Pumps with new ultrasonic level detectors.
ET S-99-0148 Engineering Transmittal 06/24/99 (Safety Evaluation 99-058)
Engineering Transmittal S-99-0148, "Repair of 1-FP-150 & 153 Auxiliary Building Fire Protection Valves", provides compensatory measures for inoperable Containment Fire Hose System stations in containment during power operations.
e Surry Monthly Operating Report No. 99-06 Page12of16 PROCEDURE OR METHOD OF OPERATION CHANGES THAT DID NOT REQUIRE NRC APPROVAL MONTHNEAR: June 1999 1/2K-A7 Annunciator Response Procedures 06/24/99 1/2K-B7 (Safety Evaluation 99-057) 1/2K-F7 Annunciator Response Procedures 1/2K-A7, "Batt System 1A & 2A Trouble" 1/2K-B7, "Batt System 1B & 2B Trouble" and 1/2K-F7, "Batt HI/LO Volt", were changed to alert Operations if an unscheduled failure of a station battery charger occurs and additional restrictions that accompany such a failure.
O-OPT-VS-005 P-1 Operations Periodic Test Procedure 06/25/99 (Safety Evaluation 99-059)
Operations Periodic Test Procedure O-OPT-VS-005, "Control Room Leakage Test", was changed to provide administrative control of the cable vault ventilation system to preclude going in and out of the appropriate Technical Specification Limiting Condition for Operation numerous times while troubleshooting leakage problems from the Main Control Room.
