This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted
by W. P. Kleinsorge on June 24-26, 1987.
The inspection _included a review
of activities authorized for your Surry facility.
At the conclusion of the
_ inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
. identified in the enclosed inspectio~ report.

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations bf procedures
and representative records., interviews with personnel, and observation of
activ*ities in progress.
Within the. scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
