MEETING SUMMARY - NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-280/87-16 AND
50-281/87-16
This refers to the enforcement conference held at our request in the NRC
Region II Office on May 19, 1987. This meeting concerned activities conducted
at your Surry facilities and related to the improper routing of Appendix R
related cables in the Surry Unit 2 cable vault and tunnel.
It is our opinion that this meeting was beneficial, and provided for a better
understanding of the event reported in Special Report 87-010-00. The subjects
discussed are detailed in the enclosed inspection report. Further information
on our findings will be forwarded by separate letter.
