SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO. 0-2 Ginna Station, Unit 81 DATE April 1, 1978 COMPLETED BY Andrew E. McNamara Operations Aide TELEPHONE 1-716-546-2700 Ext. 291-205, at Ginna MONTH March 1978 The reactor power level averaged 100% for the report month until shutdown on* 3/25 for annual refueling and maintenance.

The exception was a reduction of slight duration to ~ 97%

reactor power level on 3/14 to perform the Auxiliary Feedwater System Flow Check. The power level was restored to 100% upon completion of the test. 1 49 '23 u/78)

SUMMARY

OF SAFETY RELATED-MAINTENANCE Safety related maintenance for the month of. March included re-placing of the varidrive belts on =the 1B .charging pump due to belt failure, replacement of the exhaust solenoid valve for the containment purge exhaust valve 5879, and repair of the B phase connector for the power supply breaker to diesel genera-tor auxiliary motor control center 1H.
