The "reported" radioiodine releases for 1980 result in a calculated inhalation thyroid dose of 0.04 mrem/year, as compared to 0.06 mrem/year obtained when the "corrected" releases are used; or a difference of 0.02 mrem/year.
The impact on public health and safety from the underestimation of these releases is, therefore, seen not to be significant.
Corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations.
Appropriate procedural changes and administrative controls will be implemented to ensure the reporting of correct radioiodine release data in all future annual effluent rep~ts (including 198IT.
