Docket Nos. 50-280 and 50-281 License Nos. DPR-32 and DPR-37 EA-80-28 This refers to your letter of June 20, 1980, in response to the Notice of Violation 'and the Notice of Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties sent to you with our letter dated May 28, 1980.
The Notice of Violation accompanying our May 28, 1980 letter identified two items of noncompliance involving a solid waste shipment from Surry Power Station which exceeded Department of Transpor-tation dose rate limits.
The specific corrective measures detailed in your response to the items of noncompliance will be reviewed during subsequent inspections to determine your effectiveness in preventing additional noncompliance.
This also acknowledges receipt of your letter dated June 23, 1980, with your check in the amount or$8,000 in f~ll payment of the assessed civil penalty.
