On March 4, 1'980, the Commissioners* ordered the.s*taff to expeditious-1y prepare and i~sue an.environmental impact st~tement (EIS) on-~~ proposed repair at Unit -1.
The ~taff is currently in the _process of exe~uting this. order and has issued a draft EIS.
A final EIS wi-11' be i-ssued as soon as possible after close. of the required comri1erit period, which ends-May 5, 1980.
