Dear Mr. Keiser:
By letter dated May 1, 1997, you applied for an amendmentto Facility Operating License No.
DPR-75 for the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 2. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to auxiliary building exhaust air filtration system and the switchgear and penetration area ventilation system. In a letter dated
- August 14, 1997, you retracted the portion of the amedment request regarding the auxiliary building exhaust air filtration system. Subsequently, by letter dated December 21, 1998, you withdrew the remainder of the amendment request.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
