Inspection Report Nos. 50-272/90-17, 50-311/90-17, and 50-354/90-11
This refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. L. Cheung of this office on
June 11-15, 1990, at Salem Units 1 and 2 and Hope Creek Generating Stations in
Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey.
Mr. Cheung discussed the results of the inspection
with Mr. Preston and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
This inspection was directed at activities related to the Engineering Department
in support of the generating stations.
Areas examined during this inspection
are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this
letter. Within this area, the inspection consisted of selected examinations
of procedures and reprPsentative records, interviews with personnel, and
observations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
