Inspection Report Nos. 50-272/90-15 and 50-311/90-15
This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. S. Chaudhary of
this office on May 14~25, 1990 at the Salem Generating Station, Units 1 and 2,
at Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey.
The inspector discussed the results with
Mr. R. Smith of your staff at the May 25, 1990 exit meeting.
This inspection was directed at activ1ties related to inservice inspection,
steam generator tube examinations and the pipe supports upgrade program.
The
areas examined are described in the NRC Region I Report which is enclosed with
this letter.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examina-
tions of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and
observations.*
