NRC Combined Inspection Report No. 50-272/90-02; 50-311/90-02
A routine radiological controls inspection was conducted at the Salem Nuclear
Generating Station by Mr. R. L. Nimitz during the period January 8-12, 1990."
Areas reviewed during the inspection are discussed in the enclosed report.
The findingi of the inspection were discussed with Mr. L. Miller on
January 12, 1990.
The inspection identified that effective planning for the upcoming outage was
being performed to control occupational exposures as low as reasonably
achievable (ALARA).
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified and no
response to this letter is required.
