A routine, safety inspection of your emergency preparedness program was
conducted by Messrs. c. Amato and c. Go:rdon of this office on March 13-16 and
March 22, 1989, at your Artificial Island site, lower Alloways Creek Township,
New Jersey and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on April 17 to 19, 1989.
Discussions of our findings were held by Mr. Amato with your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined duri?9 this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas,
the*inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and
representative reco:rds, interviews with personnel and observations of the
inspectors.
Within the scope-of this inspection, no violations were identified.
