Environmental Qualification (EQ) Enforcement Conference
This letter forwards the NRC report of the September 29, 1988 enforcement
conference in the Region I office. At that conference, we discussed the
environmental qualification of Limitorque Valve operators without required
T-drains, Solenoid operated valves without Conax seals, Electric junction
boxes not properly sealed, Limitorque valve operators with brakes electrically
disconnected but not physically removed, Terminal blocks associated with *
auxiliary feedwater transmitters;
The presentation handout provided by you is
included as Appendix A to the enforcement conference report.
After evaluating the information provided by you, we will notify you in
writing of our decision on enforcement actions on the matters discussed.
