REVIEW OF GENERIC LETTER 83-28 ITEM 1.1 (POST-TRIP REVIEW)
By letters dated July 22, 1983, and August 2, 1985, Public Service Electric and Gas Company responded to Generic Letter 83-28 regarding Generic Letter 83-28, Action Item 1.1 (Post-Trip Review) for Salem, Units 1 and 2.
We have completed our review of these submittals and a copy of our Safety Evaluation is enclosed for your information.
Two open issues were identified in your July 22, 1983 response. These open issues were adequately resolved in your August 2, 1985 letter. The staff therefore concludes that the Post-Trip Program and Procedures for Salem Nuclear Generating Station are acceptable. This completes our review of this item.
