CORRECTION TO CONFIRMATORY ORDER REQUIREMENTS FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE CAPABILITY SUPPLEMENT 1 TO NUREG-0737 SALEM GENERATING STATION UNITS NO. 1 AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 In a letter dated December 19, 1983, PSE&G transmitted its implementation schedule for Emergency Response Capability.
In that letter, we indicated that structural modifications for the Technical Support Center (TSC) would be completed by January 1984, that the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) would be installed in the TSC by December 1985, and that the SPDS would be fully operational by December 1986.
Item Sa of your Confirmatory Order dated June 12, 1984 indicates that the TSC is fully functional now.
Since the TSC cannot be considered functional until the SPDS is installed and operational, we request that you correct Item Sa of the order to read TSC fully functional by December 1986.
