PROPOSED CHANGE TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS SALEM GENERATING STATION UNITS NO. 1 AND 2 DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE

\\

\\

Ref. 82-01 Add "Manual Initiation" to the list of FUNCTIONAL UNITS that initiate the Auxiliary Feedwater System.

The addition should be per the attached marked up pages.

REASON FOR CHANGE This change,.required by NRC, will satisfy the intent of requiremen*CN'o. 5 of Item I I. E.1. 2 of NUREG 073 7.

~.

SAFETY EVALUATION This cha~ge.ao"es not involve an unreviewed safety question since it only adds an existing function into the scope of the Engineered Safety Feature Actuation System Instrumentation, Table~ 3.3-3, 3.3-4 and 4.3-2 *
