DEGRADED GRID VOLTAGE PROTECTION FOR TME CLASS IE A.C. POWER SYSTEMS AT SALEM 1 AND 2 By letter dated January 19, 1981, we forwarded our Safety Evaluation for the design modifications you proposed to achieve an acceptable level of protection against degraded grid voltage. In that letter we approved the design modifications and requested that you submit the Technical Specifi-cation changes required to implement the approved modifications.
By letter dated June 16, 1981, you submitted a license amendment request for Facility Operating licenses DPR-70 and DPR-75 which contained the proposed Technical Specification changes we requested.
We have completed our review of the proposed changes and find them acceptable. Our revised Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
In accordance with our letter of July 9, 1981, we shall issue the approved Technical Specification changes after you have notified us that the subject modifications have been completed.
