9.0 PRECAUTIONS 9.1 During the injection of auxiliary feedwater following the reactor trip do not allow the reactor coolant system to be cooled at a rate greater than 100°F per hour.

10. 0 ElE'l'ATLEB: PROCEDURE

_ _ _10.1 Start the visicorder and verif:y the: correct input: of the parameters being monitored.

_ _ _10.2 Trip the reactor in accordance with SUP 80.1, NSSS Sequence Document.

_ _ _10.3 Following the plant trip verify tne Auxiliary Feedwater"Pumps start and adjust auxiliary feedwater flow to each steam generator to 440 gpm (220,600 lbm/hr).

_ _ _10.4 Maintain the flow until the feedwater ring in each steam generator is covered (11% narrow range indication) .

_ _ _10.5 Stop the visicorder and evaluate the traces to determine the degree of vibration and water hammer recorded at the monitored locations.
