2A Diesel Generator Inoperable CONDITIONS PRIOR TO OCCURRENCE:

Mode 3 DESCRIPTION OF OCCURRENCE:

During normal operation, the jacket water heater breaker for 2A Diesel kept tripping.

An investigation revealed that the jacket water heater was leaking.

The 2A Diesel Generator was made inoperable for the Maintenance Department to replace the jacket water heater.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

The faulty heater was replaced with a new one.

The Action Statement was terminated at 1335 hours0.0155 days <br />0.371 hours <br />0.00221 weeks <br />5.079675e-4 months <br /> on August 1, 1980.

A Design Change has been issued to install a different type heater _and the parts have been ordered.
