. 'letter of February 15, 1979.
The analysis was in response to our April 27, 1978 Order for Modification of License relating to the Zirconium-Water error at the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. l.
Our. review of your revised ECCS analysis which used the modified Westinghouse evaluation model approved by the NRC staff on August 29, 1978~ verifies that the Salem Unit No.* l ECCS, as reanalyzed, is in conformance with the 10 CFR 50.46 criteri~ as required in our April 27, 1978 Order.
In addftion, your ECCS re.analysis has shown that operation of Salem Unit No. 1 at a total peaking factor limit of.2.32, thetTechnical Specification limit prior.to our Order, ts acceptable.
The NRC Order for Modification of License for Salem Unit No. 1 dated April 27, 1978, which specified an F0 limit of 2.21 and which required the ECCS reanalysis, has thus been satisfied and is hereby terminated.
A copy of our Safety Evaluation-is* enclosed.
